I’m Durga. Building connections, solving problems, and chasing what inspires me.
I’ve worn many hats: software developer, account manager, MBA grad, and now someone who helps businesses get more out of technology.
At the heart of it, my work has always been about people, understanding their needs, finding solutions, and making things better than they were before.
My path has taken me from consumer goods to tech, from India to the U.S., from coding lines of software to leading business growth. Each step has taught me the same lesson: real success comes from building trust and solving problems together.
Today, I bring that mindset into my work at Microsoft, blending strategy, empathy, and a love for innovation to help customers turn ideas into results.
Beyond the Resume
Outside of work, I’m all about creative exploration, whether that’s making digital content, trying my hand at crafts, experimenting in the kitchen, or diving into a new hobby just because it looks fun.
I enjoy Indian classical dance like Kathak (though I’m not formally trained), I love brewing coffee (future barista goals!), and I’m a big fan of crochet. If time and resources weren’t a limit, I’d be a professional swimmer because nothing beats the feeling of being in the water.
I’m also happiest when I’m outdoors, hiking trails, exploring new cities, or discovering cozy cafés along the way. Rajasthan has my heart for its colors and history, but I’ve also fallen in love with the Swiss and French Alps for their beauty and calm.
For me, life is about collecting experiences, learning new skills, and finding joy in the little things, whether that’s finishing a handmade project, capturing moments on camera, or sipping a cup of Masala Chai.
